Let's mark some Art Boards.
Ask yourself the following 3 questions:
What grade would you give this work?
What are it's strengths?
What, if any, are its weaknesses?

Well, this one is a Low Merit.
It has evidence of good drawing skills and the student uses a variety of materials (mostly well but a bit 'clunky' in places).
An artist model is clearly used (in this case Shane Cotton)
There is a generation of ideas but it tends to repeat itself a little too much. The middle section of the second board is not so strong. If you look at the quality of the work at the top end of the first board and compare it to the quality from the middle of the second, you get the sense that this student was rushing at the end. They were good enough to get a higher grade! NOW TRY TO WORK OUT THE GRADES FOR THE REST.... AND CHECK OUT THE ANSWERS ON THE ANSWER PAGE
