Our Year 13 student Jim has entered the Annual Light and Dark competition and this is his piece . The aim is to create a character that has a light and dark side to their personality . The work has been sent to the big city and our fingers are crossed . Good Luck Jim . . .
Welcome to our new international student, Inken who has come from Bad Duerkheim (Bad in German means 'bath'. We don't know yet what Duerkheim means - but watch this space). Oh, by the way, she's pretty good at art . . .

Lea and Flavie are short stay and leave us this week so it's Bon Voyage to them but we never really say "goodbye" or Au Revoir , we tend to say "See you later".
This Term's Kete Class has been doing a project on Protest Music / Protest Art. Seeing as though we don't live in a perfect world , it's important that young people find their voice and let their feelings known . Go, Year 10's . Our great Year 9 High Interest Group have been making hanging mobiles (at home mostly) and these are some of the things that they have created. Lovely Raen (Year 9) has made a mobile . It's great and it's best seen in the dark !
One of our Year 9 Kete classes has been doing a project creating these lovely painted ketes . Our International Director is currently in Japan and will be giving some of them away as unique gifts to his hosts . Aren't they delightful !
