Here are this year's Painting and Photography boards (in no particular order). Year 13 is different from Years 11 and 12 because they have to complete 3 A1 boards (not 2).
To give the viewer a bit of insight into how the work is assessed, it needs to show a generation of ideas, show evidence that they have referenced the way other artists have worked with the formal elements of Art (this sounds a bit 'deep' but means things like colour, line, tone, space, perspective, symbol and metaphor and stuff like that). They then need to clarify their ideas and regenerate them. This means pick out the best and find new ways of re-presenting the information.
